Find Recipes Based on What’s in the Cupboard

Chef HatSometimes I find it difficult to come up with meals. Oftentimes I’ll pick my main ingredient (such as chicken) and look online for chicken recipes. More often than not, I find recipes that aren’t clean or I don’t have items on hand that I will need.

So I just so happened to be flipping through the latest issue of Today’s Diet & Nutrition this weekend and what did I find? A sidebar about a new website that lets you enter the ingredients you have in the cupboard or the fridge and it will return recipes based on your ingredients. I thought it was too good to be true, but I played around with it last night and it looks like a great resource for folks like me who have a hard time coming up with meals every day.

The site is called SuperCook and touts itself as The Intelligent Recipe Search Engine. The best part? It’s totally free!
