Clean Eating Menu: Wednesday, August 12th
I wasn’t really hungry last night at the time I typically have a “bedtime snack,” so you’ll notice only 5 meals yesterday. Sometimes I follow the idea of intuitive eating (only eating when hungry) and sometimes not. If I followed intuitive eating all of the time, I would never eat because I am rarely hungry. Like I’ve said in previous posts, I eat to live not live to eat.
Meal 1
Fruit smoothie with fresh blueberries, soymilk, and protein powder.
Meal 2
Slivered almonds and low-fat cottage cheese
Meal 3
Whole wheat English muffin, chicken breast, sliced onion, beefsteak tomato slices, and lettuce; side of fruit salad
Meal 4
Large banana and unsalted dry-roasted peanuts
Meal 5
Healthy pizza using whole wheat crust, low-sodium pizza sauce, low-fat mozzarella, green peppers, red peppers, banana peppers, and onions, and a side salad.
