Vanilla Blackberry Smoothie
This smoothie is perfect clean eating smoothie. Lots of vitamins and protein!
I have to say that out of all the smoothies I’ve made (and I’ve made a lot of ‘em!), this one is the best. It tastes like cake batter - yum! I try to use fresh fruit when in season, but if I can’t get fresh, I use frozen fruit. If you want to use fresh fruit, just remember to add ice for thickness. Also, if you don’t like soymilk, try rice milk or almond milk.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Light Silk Soymilk
- 1 scoop vanilla flavored protein powder*
- 1/4 c. frozen blackberries
- 1 tbs. wheat germ
- 1 tbs. ground flax seed
Directions:
Put all ingredients together in blender and blend on high until desired thickness. * I only use soy protein powder because I do not like the taste of whey protein, so for this particular smoothie I used EAS Advant Edge Soy Protein. If you prefer whey protein, then use whey.
